Chimney Stack Repair in New Brighton, Wallasey | G McMahon Building & Roofing Services | North West



Chimney stack repairs carried out in New Brighton, Wallasey by G McMahon Building & Roofing services.

The stack was repointed and the cap replaced stop water getting into the property and to stop the chances of damp issues.

The leadwork around the stack was tired and so replaced and the slates around it were replaced giving the roof the required protection from the weather.

Patio Decking in Bebington | G McMahon Building & Roofing Services | North West



A patio decking installed in Bebington.
The decking was marked and concrete was used to set the posts for the structure of the decking.

The original step into the property was low and made access more difficult. 

The decking was fitted so that both the property and garden were easy to access.

Garden path replacement & tiling in Tranmere Birkenhead | G McMahon Building & Roofing Services | North West


A Garden path that was dug up replaced and tiled in Tranmere, Birkenhead.

The aim of the job was to replace the old path and incorporate an extra step to enable the property owners easier access.

The original path was dug up and with the use of a membrane the new path concreted.

Traditional quarry tiles were used to blend with the rest of the property.

Roof replacement in Wallasey | G McMahon Building & Roofing Services | North West



G McMahon Building & Roofing services replaced an entire roof and overhauled a Dormer in Pelham Road, Wallasey.
The property originally had a slate roof which was replaced with heavier tiles and so the roof needed to be strengthened to support the extra weight. 

A dry ridge system was also installed onto the roof and the chimney stack was repointed. Lead flashings were used to reduce the effects of weathering on the stack and around the Dormer

After the roof was strengthened the roof was tiled the Dormer roof had new plywood boards fitted with three layers of 350 polyester felt.
New fascia boards were fitted with grp edging.
